It seems like your rhodododeron should be bigger by now, with all the sunshine and rain. Maybe you could get the birds to fertilize it. There seems to be a lot of groing going on under the landing zone of the birdfeeder. We don't normally see crocuses until April or sometimes May but there's a lot of bare, thawed earth getting sunshine right now around here so I guess it depends on whether the bulbouses have internal clocks or just go by soil temperature and patterns of warmth.

They seem to be effective Godzilla repellents. Haven't seen Godzilla come around even once since I put 'em up!
