Heeheehee! These are hilarious and wonderful! You're lucky! I never get these kinds of critters in my yard. (Well, we used to get squirrel acrobatics until Yeem and Stilt conspired to cut off all the low-hanging evergreen tree branches that acted as the squirrels' diving boards.)
They do look like they're on a mission! What do groundhogs eat? Maybe they're waiting for the bugs that come with the ripening vegetables? Or maybe they're holding primaries this year, and need to canvass the neighborhood for votes?
