I wouldn't know a cowbird from a cowsill. I'm not totally ignorant, tho, because I can tell one from a cowpie. Actually if you told me they were doves I'd probably say, "Mmm, interesting doves you've got there in central Ohio. Ours are more irridescent but maybe that just didn't show up through your doorglass."
